Tea service and seminar were held on 15th to 17th on November in MAFF. At 15th, Kimono beauties served specialty teas elected Japanese Tea Awards in 2016 as a special event for Kimono day.

In this tea service event, a deep steamed green tea made in Makinohara tea estate was also served for visitors in addition to the awarded teas, thanks to the cooperation of the association of tea farmers in Makinohara city.

These teas were served for visitors by Japanese Tea Instructors dressed with Kimono at the entrance of MAFF building.

Kimono beauties, beautiful flowers, tatami chairs, tatami tea room and Japanese teas of outstanding quality were mutually harmonized and created relief atmosphere.

At the “Room for consumers” in MAFF, Japanese Tea Instructors explained how to prepare Japanese teas more tasty for visitors with serving teas.

In this time, various local products were also exhibited in the room. Visitors seemed to enjoy teas and these exhibition.

The “Room for Consumers” opens from 10:00 to 17:00 on weekdays except for Friday. In Friday, it opens from 10:00 to 13:00.
