Night Scenes of “Tea Museum Shizuoka”

On 7th and 8th September, “Tea Museum Shizuoka” opens till night time. We can enjoy night views of the museum and night tea ceremony in the traditional tea house “Shoumokurou”.

Although the tea ceremony was full yesterday unfortunately, I could enjoy seeing exhibitions in the museum and the traditional Japanese garden.

The night can let the garden express another aspects different from day time. What a perfect day for night walking on the garden. Fortunately yesterday the moon illumed the garden and tea house.

The 3rd floor of the museum provided us with the delightful night view over the garden.

During waiting time for the tea ceremony, we can enjoy seeing the exhibitions and views from the museum.

Yesterday, the museum served cups of Sencha produced by the GIHAS-certified method “Chagusaba Practice” in tea estates around the museum.

The museum will provide the evening program sometimes. I hope tea lovers can experience the night-time program in “Tea Museum Shizuoka” next time!
