Minori Harvest Festival 2018

I could meet many nice smiles in Minori Harvest Festival 2018. As an tea enthusiast, there is nothing more delightful than seeing happy smiles over the cups of tea!

Japanese tea instructors and local tea businesses served various specialty teas for visitors at Minori Harvest Festival. The visitors enjoyed them and many of them said they have never taste such delicious and aromatic tea. Of course, some tea lovers visited and sufficiently enjoy the specialty teas, including awarded ones in Japanese Tea Award 2017.

In the governmental exhibition booth, MAFF staff exhibited some new apparatus for tea event, “Temomi Hoiro” – the hot plate for tea hand-processing and the tea bag shaper, developed by the Japan Tea Central Association and cooperated companies, such as TERADA and Yoshimura Co., Ltd, respectively.

The experience of hand-processing on the hot plate seemed to catch the children’s fancy. Children enjoy “Temomi” hand-processing at the booth.

The tea bag shaper can make tea bag in the heart shape. The demonstration of tea bag shaper also delighted children.

In addition, the pamphlet for recipes using ‘Sun Rouge’ cultivar shows beautiful red colors in various cuisines.

The awarded teas could satisfy various visitors from children to adults.

Specialty teas delighted various visitors from children to adluts.
