Greenery Day

Shizuoka prefecture gaining greener and greener after first flush season began. Tea plantations have also gotten greener. Today IS just Greenery Day!!

Tea plantations got greener after plucking because the lower leaves increase its chlorophylls due to shading by the upper leaves.

In this day, some of national gardens are opened for free, for example, Hama-rikyu Gardens. Now spring flowers are full-bloomed! Although the garden is one of the best spot for cherry blossoms seeing, the best season has been over in this year. Now other flowers and new green leaves are fully flushed!

A tea house in the Hama Rikyu gardens was full of people! Warm day attracts us to enjoy teas.

The tea house “Nakajima no Chaya” locates on the pond and surrouded with many livings. Ducks playing on wter and resting comfortably on land under the sunshine. The peaceful scene and teas could bring serenity to our hearts.

In East Gardens of the Imperial Palace, tea plants vividly flush their new shoots!

In the east gardens, other plants welcome us with their fresh colors!

Now cherry trees have produced their fruits.

Ume plums have also fruited under the sunshine.

These attractive plants do attract many people.

A small forest provides us with a place perfect to walking. We can enjoy not only trees but also the diversity of small plants, because there are no nameless weeds and those small plants has each charasteristic and original name.

Many poeple visited to the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace. At the busy period, we have to wait for some minutes in such long line to enter the garden.

At the entrance, a swan also welcome us.

Fantastic scenes attract let me to enjoy Japanese Sencha with the beauties.

Warm climate attracts us to enjoy cold green tea.

At the beginning of summer, various colors of plants gave fresh energy for us!
