Royal Blue Tea Japan

11 years ago, a pioneer of cold brew bottled tea “Royal Blue Tea Japan” began the prominent business. The company launched a cold brew bottled tea using one of the highest quality teas, produced by Mr. Ohta in Tenryu tea estate in Shizuoka prefecture.

The president Sato named the brand of bottled tea as “MASA”, which is derived from the first name of tea farmer Mr. Ohta. Mr Sato tried to establish a top brand of cold brew bottled tea. Thus he has searched for the most sophisticated tea farmers all around Japan.

He developed a few brands using limited specialty teas of top level in Japan.
The company uses only hand-plucked tea produced in certain tea farms or tea estates to guarantee the finest quality of their brand line.

The special technique of cold infusion and filtration can provide rich flavor with enough natural aroma.

In the “Roppongi Boutique”, the tea bar and retail shop of royal blue tea, we can enjoy grasses of cold brew tea under the serene atmosphere. The highly sophisticated atmosphere and subtle grasses of tea could liberate me spiritually. I could be really relaxed at the tea bar.

These brands of cold brewed bottled tea are served in limited occasions such as luxury hotels or classy restaurants worldwide. Japan Air Line also serves the exclusive tea for the First Class passengers.

I loved the amber color of roasted Gyokuro. Mellow flavor due to roasty aroma and abundant umami with light bodied finish seemed to clear my mind.

We can also enjoy seeing the beautiful bottles exhibited in the show case. Personally I like to read the description on the back of bottle. The description explains the information of ingredient tea such as tea estate, tea farmer, cultivation and processing etc.
