Fujinokuni Tea Museum will re-open from 24th March 2018. The museum has been renovated as a front line of teas information, such as tea industries, culture, history, science and technologies.

On 24th and 25th March, the museum hill hold grand opening event and provide some services with visitors.

(1) Welcome tea service
The museum will welcome you with cups of specialty teas. Though I have no information about served tea, I hope to meet various specialty teas sold in the shopping mall of the museum.

The museum has a shopping mall where we can buy a wide variety of specialty teas produced in each tea estate in Shizuoka prefecture.

(2) Exhibition of hand processing of Sencha loose leaf tea
Now, there are 8 styles of hand processing of Sencha green tea in Shizuoka pref. and they has been certificated as an intangible cultural heritage of Shizuoka.Tea masters of all the 8 style will exhibit their sophisticated skills of tea hand-processing in the opening event.
