The segment of organic tea is newly set in this year based on the gaining demand of organic tea, as reported by FAO.

Notable tea farmers in Shizuoka have been awarded since the first contest held in 2014. I’d like to introduce my recommended teas as follows.

Simultaneous awards in different segments indicates his skill of tea production, including tea cultivation, is so sophisticated and magnificent.

Tsuyuhikari Green Tea by Oguri Farm co. ltd.
Deep steamed green tea of ‘Tsuyuhikari’ cultivar produced by Oguri farm has been also elected for the final selection. The cold infused one was so excellent!! I hope more people would be conscious with the excellence of the specialty tea and enjoy the prominent flavor and splendid finish.
