In the author’s opinion, Fukamushi-cha (deep-steamed green tea) of this factory has a sophisticated bitter taste for adults. In general, Fukamushi-cha has milder and sweet taste and the color of its infusion is bright deep green and cloudy. On the other hand, the tea of this factory has bitterer taste with a peaky nice finish. And the color of infusion is clearer deep green. If we drink it, at first we can sense sweetness and umami, and then we can enjoy fresh bitter taste with a peaky nice finish. So, the tea is recommended for occasions when we concentrate on something such as brainwork, reading and so on. I’d like to drink such tea when I start deskwork.

The president of this factory also carry out from farming tea garden to selling loose leaf tea processed by themselves. In addition, he tries to work with local hotels in an effort to let tourists enjoy tea products in Makinohara area. Unfortunately, they don’t have any retail shop. If we would like drink their tea, there are two ways to enjoy their tea. First, we can buy their tea products at retail events in some department stores. Second, when we stay at the hotels belonging to Makinohara Tourism Association (as for detail, see “Guide for trips”) we can ask staff in the hotels to bring the tea products or introduce the factory.
