Yesterday, the Japanese national era changed to “Reiwa” from “Heisei”. Tea plucking and crude tea production has been carried out over the era. So tea shops has started to sold the first flush produced on the “Heisei” Era and “Reiwa” Era.

In this year, the cool weather coming back caused the delay of first flush picking. Therefore, Hachiju Hachiya today is the peak of tea production each tea estate in Shizuoka prefecture.

Fortunately, the today’s weather was so fine and suited to the first flush plucking.
