Arahata-en co. ltd., one of the most excellent tea processors in Makinohara, produces an unique and original Puer tea. The name is “Saryu SoSo” (I’d like to translate “Salut Sough Sough”, imaging walking around tea garden with seeing the sea of tea bush of emerald green soughing by wind at the end of Spring).
This Puer tea is made from green tea fermented with Aspergillus sp.(PK-1). Thanks to the fermentation with the Aspergillus, this Puer tea has many benefits for our health, such as much more amount of polymerized polyphenol and gallic acid, which prevent fat from being absorbed by human body.
I like its slight sweet aroma and taste. When I open the pack, I can feel puer-like smell with sweet fregrance. Low temperature extraction can provide sweeter flavor and very clean amber color, as shown in the photo.
I often infuse it by using 500ml bottle. This manner is very easy, only putting the puer tea bag into the bottle, and pouring water. After almost 4 hours, I can enjoy the beautiful amber liquor.
