Flower arrangement has been related to teaism for a long time. Teamasters have philosophy to embody the beauty in their life, thus they create the beauty in tea ceremony using flower decoration as a practice of their philosophy.

OKAKURA Tenshin, the author of “Book of Tea”, mentioned as below in his book.
“In joy and sadness, flowers are our constant friends. We eat, drink, sing, dance and flirt with them. We wed and christen with flowers.” “We have worshipped with the lily, we have mediated with lotus.” “We have attempted to speak in the language of flowers.”

Flowers are essential for our life, of course, for teaism.
