Green teas provide various benefits for us and improve the quality of our life!
To buy fine teas in less expensive price is a common demand all over the world.

I have solutions for you. In Shizuoka, we can get less expensive teas of finest quality in many shops.

Today, I’d like to introduce some of the candidates for such demand.

Marui Ito Seicha tea factory provides deep-steamed teas of fine quality in less expensive prices.

1st one is “Tokusen” brand as shown in the following photo.

As written in the previous post, I usually brew more than 3 times for one dose of tea leaves with changing steep temperature from lower to higher.

The first infusion extracted at lower temperature (about 10 degree Celsius) expresses transparent greenish yellow color (left one in the below picture). The second infusion re-steeped at relatively higher temperature (about 80 degree Celsius) has denser green color, specific to deep-steamed green tea (right one in the below picture).
It takes just 600yens for 1 pack (100g), furthermore in events, we can get this tea in 500yens as shown in the following photo.

“Hachiju Hachiya” brand takes 800yens.
The outlook of tea leaves looks like almost same as “Tokusen”.

Compared to “Tokusen”, the infusion color of “Hachiju Hachiya” is a little bit brighter.
Especially, I feel the color of re-steeping infusion is brighter.

These high quality per price is perfect to the usual use at home or office.
I my opinion, teas of Marui Ito Seicha has a nice balance of umami and bitterness. This balance could improve my concentration. I’d like to drink them at office to concentrate on my task.
